More About Me

HR Consultant, Communicator, Coach & Optimistic Thinker

I was born overseas and my family moved to NZ when I was young. I went to school in Auckland, and then completed tertiary studies in both Australia and NZ.

Initially I worked in hotel management, and loved it - but soon realised what I was relishing the most in my work was seeing my team discover new opportunities, grow and develop. It was at this point, I went back to Uni to study Human Resources - whilst applying it in the real world as I was working.

Since then, I've worked in NZ, Australia and the UK, and have over 20+ years experience in generalist Human Resources - including internal communications, coaching and facilitation.

I've worked for multi-nationals, locally owned private businesses, NZSX and ASX companies and across a broad range of industries (including FMCG, viticulture, supply chain, transport, roading, railways and professional services) - but throughout them all, my consistent focus has been on the people within these organisations and enabling them to connect with their potential and creating strong, successful businesses.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, majoring in HR. I have been a Chartered Member of the Human Resources Institute of NZ since 2010; and I now mentor as well as assess up and coming HR practitioners.

I have accreditation in TMS Profiles, Leadership Behaviour Profiles (360 degree reviews) and Emotional & Social Intelligence (Team Management Services); and in the use of the Emotional Culture Deck - which I use in team facilitation or coaching, as applicable and requested.  I am also a professional member of the ICF, International Coaching Federation; and I have a current NZ Private Security Individual Licence to conduct investigations (Bacchus, P.I.!)

As an HR Consultant & Coach, I can provide this experience and background to support you, your team members and your business with your current 'today' challenges along with your future growth.
